A good friend of ours has started a go fund me to help out with all the medical and post op expenses while I’m out of work for 8-10 weeks and while I am fortunate to have insurance, I do have to pay max out of pocket and deductible before these procedures are fully covered. There is also an amazon wish list for items that would make my recovery much more comfortable and smooth like post op mastectomy clothing and specialized items made just for this procedure!

I know that it has been a long year + of vague updates on IG and FB from all of us here at PoLa and for that I apologize. I’m sure it sounds terrible and maybe slightly irresponsible but truly, the chaos has been such that I can hardly muster time enough to function like a human in my own self let alone in a social and business setting. Because of that, my ability to keep y’all in the loop has clearly shown some flaws. So, I wanted to share the abridged version of what has been going on so that we can at least all be on the same page. Or at least on the same chapter in the book of pierogi.
